About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Psychologist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive psychological assessments and treatment services to young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and deliver a wide range of psychodiagnostic assessments for children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance to colleagues regarding psychological matters.
  • Supervise and mentor Psychology Residents in their clinical development.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
  • Doctoral-level training in Child Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Substantial experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting with children and families.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including report writing.
