Opportunity for a Psychologist at PHSA
Location: Vancouver, BC
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee a variety of psychological evaluations and therapeutic interventions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatment strategies, and results
- Offer guidance and insights to colleagues and healthcare staff regarding psychological evaluations
- Represent the psychology department in various professional gatherings
- Mentor and assess Psychology Residents
Required Qualifications:
- Valid registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
- Doctoral-level training in child clinical psychology or a closely related field
- Recent experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong communication abilities
- Capability to prioritize tasks and set objectives
- Competence in computer applications related to report generation
