Role Overview
As a Senior Pursuit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding our pursuit efforts from inception to completion. Our dedicated team excels in crafting meticulous submissions, ensuring that our responses are polished and compelling. You will collaborate closely with business development and marketing leaders, as well as various stakeholders across North America.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the entire pursuit process, from initial qualifications to proposal submission and selection phases, ensuring all materials are thoroughly prepared.
- Effectively manage large teams and navigate high-pressure deadlines with precision.
- Possess a deep understanding of the necessary qualifications, expertise, and project types relevant to our initiatives.
- Collaborate directly with project managers and marketing professionals, coordinating efforts with sub-consultants and subject matter experts.
- Engage in frequent teamwork with internal staff, including writers and graphic designers, to enhance proposal quality.
- Assess both technical and non-technical content, providing edits and refinements as needed.
- Compile information on previous project experiences and develop comprehensive personnel resumes.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, growth opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Assist in strategic capture planning to enhance our market positioning.
- Maintain up-to-date pursuit status reports within our CRM system.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry's standard practices for securing professional services.
- Willingness and ability to travel for in-person engagements.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign.
- A proven track record as a self-starter, capable of completing projects with minimal supervision.
