Role Overview

As a Senior Pursuit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding our proposals from conception to completion. Our dedicated team is meticulous and results-oriented, ensuring that every submission is polished and compelling. You will collaborate closely with business development and marketing leaders, as well as various stakeholders across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pursuit process from initial qualifications through to proposal, interview, and selection phases, managing all submissions, whether digital or print.
  • Effectively coordinate large teams under tight deadlines, demonstrating diligence and accountability.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the required expertise and project types relevant to our initiatives.
  • Collaborate directly with project managers and marketing professionals, while coordinating with external consultants and subject matter experts.
  • Engage in frequent teamwork with internal staff, including writers and graphic designers, to enhance proposal quality.
  • Assess both technical and non-technical content, providing editing support as needed.
  • Compile information on past project experiences and develop personnel resumes.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, growth opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Assist in strategic capture planning initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date pursuit status reports within our CRM system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the architecture, engineering, and construction industry's standard procurement practices.
  • Willingness to travel and engage with stakeholders in person.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
