Your Role
In the capacity of a Senior Proposal Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, contributing to our mission of making a positive difference in the community and beyond. Our team is meticulous and dedicated, ensuring that every submission is crafted with precision from inception to the client's final decision.
- Directs the proposal process from initial qualifications through to interviews and selection phases, managing all submissions, whether digital or printed.
- Capable of overseeing extensive proposal teams and navigating high-pressure deadlines with professionalism.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the necessary experience, knowledge, and project types pertinent to the program.
- Collaborates closely with project managers and marketing professionals, coordinating efforts with subcontractors and subject matter experts.
- Engages in frequent teamwork with internal staff, including writers and graphic designers.
- Assesses both technical and non-technical content, demonstrating the ability to edit proposal sections effectively.
- Collects information on previous project experiences and develops personnel resumes.
- Conducts market sector research to identify trends, growth opportunities, market shifts, and competitor insights.
- Aids in strategic capture planning.
- Maintains up-to-date pursuit status reports within the CRM system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard practices for procuring professional services.
- Willingness and ability to travel for in-person engagements.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign.
- Proven ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
