Safety Services Shift Manager

The Safety Services Shift Manager is a critical position responsible for overseeing the safety and security of our guests and employees at Niagara City Cruises. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of public safety and comfort while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and assist the Safety Services Team Members and Investigators in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
- Develop and implement safety and security protocols to prevent incidents and respond to emergencies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and safe experience for our guests.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on safety and security procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of safety and security incidents.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as needed.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. security, law enforcement, emergency management).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a security or safety-related field.
- Proven track record of ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
