Role Overview: The Packaging Innovation team serves as the scientific authority for the development of packaging materials and sustainability research at Colgate-Palmolive. This role is pivotal in driving innovation in packaging sustainability and developing new materials that minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of innovative packaging solutions focused on sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Global R&D, Quality, and Engineering teams to analyze and resolve packaging performance issues.
  • Utilize expertise in material and polymer science to inform packaging technologies and processes.
  • Conduct thorough material characterization using advanced instruments such as AFM, XPS, SEM, and more.
  • Communicate effectively across departments, translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. in polymer science, material science, chemical engineering, or related fields with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience, or a master’s/bachelor’s degree in science/engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
