Job Title: Senior Case Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Case Associate to join our team at Sun Life. As a Senior Case Associate, you will be responsible for the administration of insurance proposals, from verification to mailing of contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance applications and submit records to medical underwriters as needed
• Adjust accounting entries and arrange for premiums to be paid
• Issue or decline contracts and communicate with advisors and clients
• Communicate daily with advisors by phone and email to ensure they are aware of the status of the file and have all necessary information

Requirements:

• Bilingualism (French and English) is required to answer calls from clients across Canada and worldwide
• Customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively in writing and over the phone
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to solve problems and suggest improvements to processes and practices
• Ability to organize work to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of individual insurance products and Sun Life systems (Ingenium, MLIF, customer service desk)
• Knowledge of Brighter Way Management Systems (BWMS) and processes

What We Offer:

Overtime may be required. As training on all facets of this position requires 18 months, candidates are required to commit to working in this position for at least 18 months.
