Job Title: General Manager

At Nutrien Ag Solutions Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of human resource management within the division, including hiring, promoting, performance management, coaching, and discharging within company policy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and recommend an operations budget to Corporate Management and monitor deviations.
  • Plan and develop policy and procedures and ensure adherence.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Develop acquisition and expansion strategies.
  • Comply and enforce all Nutrien and Industry regulatory and EH&S standards.
Requirements:
  • Agricultural or Commerce-based degree or equivalent experience of 5 years.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of demonstrated successful experience in farm supply marketing, with three (3) years in management.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of agricultural products and practices.
  • Advanced business skills of branch management.
  • Thorough understanding of fertilizer and agricultural chemical usage and practices.
  • Understanding of the agricultural demands and practices of the division.
  • Ability to meet the Nutrien Ag Solutions policy requirement by completing a Criminal background check, Drug/alcohol testing, and Driving Record Abstract.
