At Nutrien Ag Solutions Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team in Ontario (Dorchester) with possible review remotely in Eastern/Western Canada for the right candidate.

Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented General Manager to oversee all aspects of human resource management within the Division, including hiring, promoting, performance management, coaching, and discharging within company policy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and recommend an operations budget to Corporate Management and monitor deviations.
- Plan and develop policy and procedures and ensure adherence.
- Negotiate contracts with vendor(s).
- Develop acquisition and expansion strategies.
- Comply and enforce all Nutrien and Industry regulatory and EH&S standards.
- Agricultural or Commerce-based degree or equivalent experience of 5 years.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of demonstrated successful experience in farm supply marketing, with three (3) years in management.
- Well-rounded knowledge of agricultural products and practices.
- Advanced business skills of branch management.
- Thorough understanding of fertilizer and agricultural chemical usage and practices.
- Understanding of the agricultural demands and practices of the division.
- Ability to meet the Nutrien Ag Solutions policy requirement by completing a Criminal background check, Drug/alcohol testing, and Driving Record Abstract.
