Role ResponsibilitiesThis position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule and presents opportunities to:
- Engage in a variety of projects, including site characterization, slope stability assessments, numerical modeling, foundation and tailings dam design, as well as earthworks design.
- Conduct site visits to gather essential information that supports design activities, and participate in site investigations, drilling programs, core logging, laboratory testing, instrumentation installations, and monitoring.
- Travel to various project sites across Canada and internationally.
We value the knowledge and experience you bring and are committed to supporting your professional growth. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering, with a strong desire for ongoing development.
- Some field experience related to drilling and/or construction monitoring.
- Eligibility to register as a professional engineer-in-training in British Columbia.
- Exposure to slope stability and seepage analysis.
- The ability to cultivate relationships with multidisciplinary project teams.
- A knack for creative problem-solving and effective presentation of solutions.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
