POSITION OBJECTIVE
  • Assist in developing workforce strategies while staying informed on industry developments
  • Deliver HR assistance to operational managers
  • Serve as a communication bridge with various HR departments

  • Manage employee relations and oversee performance evaluations
  • Facilitate talent acquisition and professional growth
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support strategic workforce planning efforts
  • Provide operational HR support to management
  • Act as the HR point of contact
  • Offer guidance on change management processes
  • Translate strategic objectives into practical actions
  • Address employee relations concerns
  • Assist in performance management and employee development initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Human Resources with relevant industry experience
  • Preferred HR certifications
  • Proven experience as an HR business partner within the heavy industry sector
SUPERVISORY ROLE
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Primarily office-based with occasional standing and walking
  • Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, and climb as necessary
  • Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Effective communication in both individual and group settings
POSITION TYPE AND TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
  • Full-time, exempt role
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% out of state
