Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Expleo. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that engineering solutions meet customer requirements and comply with industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address technical, schedule, and budgetary challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Allocate resources effectively, managing team workloads and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and materials.
  • Track project progress against milestones, identify any deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and any necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field). A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project engineering or project management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with avionics systems, electronics, or related technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC standards).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience working with international teams and customers.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
