Job Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, working closely with the Director of Operations to ensure all objectives are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects through all phases, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Oversee the market introduction of projects, ensuring all deliverables are achieved.
  • Analyze contracts and develop comprehensive scopes of work.
  • Facilitate negotiations and issue purchase orders aligned with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and various stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Supervise project installations while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Create and manage construction timelines utilizing Microsoft Project software.
  • Oversee the contract modification process.
  • Compile detailed work and testing protocols for equipment commissioning.
  • Engage in on-site evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Uphold stringent quality control measures to minimize defects.
  • Administer warranties, maintenance, and post-sale services.
  • Draft essential correspondence and memos for project management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in building mechanics, particularly in HVAC and plumbing.
  • Experience as a ventilation contractor in HVAC is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
  • Proficient in Windows and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required for effective communication with clients outside Quebec.
