Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer Test Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our testing and developer enablement strategy, and you'll have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures the highest quality software solutions.
  • Quality Advocacy: Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability, and drive their adoption across the engineering organization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to ensure that our tools and frameworks meet the evolving needs of our engineers.
  • Tool & Framework Development: Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and tools from scratch.
  • Mentorship: Guide, coach, and mentor team members to foster an innovative and collaborative environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and regularly refine our approach to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong focus on integrating test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience using languages like Python, Java, or TypeScript.
  • Extensive experience working with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies.
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GitHub for version control and leveraging GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with Maestro for test automation and mobile testing.
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of effective test case design and development.
  • Enthusiasm for financial technology and innovation.
