Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator in Engineering to join our team at GBi. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering projects from start to finish. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with project team members, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, minutes, and other relevant documents.
  • Provide support to project managers and other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering project coordination or a related field.
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) is required.
  • Experience with project management software and tools is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in English is an asset.
