Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant is responsible for performing essential tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of guest accommodations and bathrooms under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper or designated personnel, the Room Attendant is accountable for:

  • Preparing rooms for cleaning.
  • Making beds in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Restocking guestroom and bathroom supplies.
  • Delivering and collecting items requested by guests, such as irons and ironing boards.
  • Performing periodic cleaning tasks (e.g., steam cleaning carpets, seasonal cleaning) as necessary.
  • Maintaining work areas and equipment to meet hotel standards.
  • Responding to guest calls, requests, and complaints in the assigned area.
  • Striving to achieve and surpass guest satisfaction.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile...

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and more than 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Capability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces.
  • Flexibility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Willingness to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
  • Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
