Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent - Reservations to join our team at the Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reservations: Process reservations, changes, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and special requests.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, including property management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
