We are in search of a Supply Chain Planner to enhance our operations.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and committed Supply Chain Planner. The perfect candidate will possess a strong interest in supply chain operations, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a sharp business acumen. In this position, you will oversee supply planning and inventory procurement. You will apply continuous improvement strategies to meet key performance metrics, communicate long-term supply forecasts aligned with business growth, and optimize cost-to-service ratios.

Primary Duties:
  1. Production Coordination and Procurement: Oversee production scheduling, procurement, materials oversight, and logistics management.
  2. Logistics Optimization: Reduce logistics costs while enhancing customer fulfillment rates.
  3. Supplier Evaluation: Maintain performance metrics for relevant suppliers (both local and international) in critical areas such as quality, delivery, and pricing.
  4. Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with various departments to minimize obsolete or discontinued stock.
  5. Strategic Projects: Identify and lead strategic initiatives and optimization efforts across logistics and fulfillment processes.
  6. Process Enhancement: Regularly assess and refine supply chain processes to boost efficiency, lower costs, and support business expansion.
  7. Risk Assessment: Recognize potential supply chain vulnerabilities and devise strategies to mitigate risks ensuring operational continuity.
  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  9. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers to guarantee reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain operations adhere to applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Apply lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a diploma/certificate in Supply Chain/Sourcing focus and/or a professional designation in Supply Chain or Operations.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience with a demonstrated history of success in supply chain, operations, and continuous improvement.
  3. Proficient in Excel.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  8. Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
  9. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
  10. Adaptable to evolving business needs and priorities.
