About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Magnum Transhaul Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, as well as managing finances and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue, ensuring optimal supply chain performance.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business administration.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a transportation or logistics management role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Work Conditions: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
