Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Delta Hotels Guelph Conference Centre. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and room service, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and maximizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen personnel.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, maintain sanitation standards, and ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and labor costs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead and motivate restaurant staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field preferred.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, or related field; 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
