Restaurant Operations Manager

At Nguyen's Vietnamese Restaurant, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing our budget to boost and maintain our profits, evaluating daily operations, and modifying food preparation methods and menu prices according to our restaurant budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Cost products and services
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Leading/instructing individuals
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
