Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Nguyen's Vietnamese Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless service
  • Recruit and train staff to meet the needs of the restaurant
  • Set staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess staff performance
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Leading/instructing individuals to achieve team goals
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze budget and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
