About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Financing Leader to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Personal Banking sector, you will have the opportunity to influence and position residential financing, leveraging your advisory-focused leadership and global vision to drive business growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence and Collaboration: Work in synergy with colleagues from various business lines to engage clients with solutions that go beyond residential financing.
  • Inspiring Leadership: Adopt a strong and inspiring leadership approach, building, aligning, coaching, and mobilizing high-performing teams.
  • Creativity and Market Opportunities: Proactively search for market opportunities to drive Residential Financing's transformation and evolution, sharing bold new ideas to meet clients' needs.
About the Team

You will lead a Residential Financing team of over 680 people, including 4 direct reports, and report to the Senior Vice-President, Personal Banking.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least ten years' experience in residential financing, or a master's degree in a related field and at least eight years' experience.
  • Sound knowledge of the Canadian residential financing market.
  • Demonstrated strategic vision.
  • Pragmatic and inspiring leader committed to promoting and influencing the Bank's culture of innovation and performance.
  • Impactful communicator who can share the vision.
  • Able to coach and develop talent.
  • Able to build relationships, play an influential leadership role, and motivate people to collaborate with all our partners.
Language

English and French are the required languages for this role.
