About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Financing Leader to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Personal Banking sector, you will have the opportunity to influence and position residential financing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence and Collaboration: Work in synergy with colleagues from various business lines to engage clients with comprehensive solutions that go beyond residential financing.
  • Inspiring Leadership: Adopt a strong and inspiring leadership approach, building, aligning, coaching, and mobilizing high-performing teams to drive Residential Financing's transformation and evolution.
  • Creativity and Market Opportunities: Proactively identify market opportunities to drive Residential Financing's growth and evolution, sharing bold new ideas to meet clients' needs and anticipate their future requirements.
About the Team

You will lead a Residential Financing team of over 680 people, including 4 direct reports, and report to the Senior Vice-President, Personal Banking.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least ten years' experience in residential financing, or a master's degree in a related field and at least eight years' experience in the same field.
  • Sound knowledge of the Canadian residential financing market.
  • Demonstrated strategic vision.
  • Pragmatic and inspiring leader committed to promoting and influencing the Bank's culture of innovation and performance.
  • Impactful communicator able to share the vision.
  • Able to coach and develop talent.
  • Able to build relationships, play an influential leadership role, and motivate people to collaborate with all our partners.
Language

English and French are the primary languages required for this role, as you will need to discuss frequently with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
