About the Role

This is a leadership position within the Personal Banking sector at National Bank, where you will have the opportunity to shape and position residential financing. As a Residential Financing Leader, you will leverage your advisory-focused leadership, residential financing expertise, and global vision to positively impact the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence and Collaboration: Work in synergy and partnership with colleagues from other business lines to engage clients more with the Bank by offering solutions that go beyond residential financing.
  • Inspiring Leadership: Adopt a strong and inspiring leadership approach, building, aligning, coaching, and mobilizing high-performing teams, while being a leader who brings people together and offers different perspectives.
  • Creativity and Market Opportunities: Proactively search for market opportunities that will drive Residential Financing's transformation and evolution, sharing bold new ideas to meet clients' needs, while anticipating their future needs.
About the Team

As a Residential Financing Leader, you will lead a Residential Financing team of more than 680 people, including 4 direct reports, and report to the Senior Vice-President, Personal Banking.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least ten years' experience in residential financing, or a master's degree in a related field and at least eight years' experience in the same field.
  • Market Knowledge: Sound knowledge of the Canadian residential financing market.
  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated strategic vision.
  • Leadership: Pragmatic and inspiring leader who is committed to promoting and influencing the Bank's culture of innovation and performance.
  • Communication: Impactful communicator who can share the vision.
  • Talent Development: Able to coach and develop talent.
  • Relationship Building: Able to build relationships, play an influential leadership role, and motivate people to collaborate with all our partners.
