About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at JYSK Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Assist the store management team in leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assist with the implementation of sales and merchandising plans, analyze sales data, and make informed decisions to drive sales growth and maximize revenue.
  • Loss Prevention and Inventory Management: Assist with loss prevention processes, including participation in prevention strategies and investigations, and ensure accurate inventory management and stock control.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a high level of service and support, and resolving any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in retail management and customer service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
