ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) Specialist
Ward Technology Talent Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ServiceNow CMDB Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in optimizing IT service management processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our configuration data.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with diverse business units to refine their service management practices and delivery models.
- Lead and enhance IT Service Management (ITSM) processes by working closely with other ITSM specialists, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the IT department.
- Develop comprehensive implementation plans, securing all necessary resources for successful execution and ongoing management of projects.
- Continuously assess process performance, proactively researching best practices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Establish and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insightful recommendations to senior management for continuous enhancement.
- Serve as the primary and backup point of contact for various critical processes, including Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, and Request Management.
Required Experience:
- Possess a recognized ITIL certification, such as ITIL 3 Service Operation or ITIL 4 Create, Deliver & Support.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in ServiceNow CMDB Administration and Asset Management.
- Have over five years of proven experience leading and managing ITSM processes within an organization.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in the ServiceNow platform and its functionalities.
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
- Demonstrate prior experience in vendor/supplier management, ensuring seamless relationships and service delivery.
- Showcase a solid understanding of business analysis and planning processes, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Exhibit project management capabilities, successfully leading initiatives from conception to completion.
