Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Baker to join our team. As a Retail Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Baking: Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including wedding and specialty cakes, and decorate them to meet customer expectations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide exceptional customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and overtime required.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, with hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
