We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Valerio's Tropical Bakeshop ULC. As a Bakery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of bread and pastries, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work under pressure
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced bakery environment. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending.
