About the Role:

The Recruitment Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day functions of retail recruitment for assigned client groups. This position is responsible for managing requisitions, posting job ads, and screening resumes to identify top candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and manage requisitions to fulfill recruitment needs.
  • Approve requisitions for assigned regions and post job ads on career sites and job boards.
  • Use an applicant tracking system to manage high-volume screening of resumes and identify candidates that meet specific profiles.
  • Interview shortlisted candidates to determine fit and forward recommendations to hiring managers for in-person interviews.
  • Identify ways to support remote and priority recruitment through creative sourcing campaigns, strategies, and referral generation.
  • Headhunt to engage passive candidates using Boolean search techniques and alternative search methods.
  • Provide training and support to hiring managers on using the applicant tracking system and managing the candidate lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Team Lead on various projects related to recruitment and talent strategy.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the company's retail brands and manage the recruitment inbox by responding to inquiries and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Support the Human Resources team with ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of recruitment experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, or Marketing is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail sales environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms.
