As an Investigator with the Government of Alberta, you will play a critical role in facilitating decision making through the provision of professional and accurate information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations and prepare comprehensive reports to support case management.
  • Analyze results and provide expert recommendations to inform decision making.
  • Manage a caseload and provide support to team members to ensure effective case resolution.
  • Prepare to testify as a witness in hearings and provide expert testimony.

Team Collaboration and Development

  • Promote a collaborative working relationship with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Share expertise and provide general support to the investigative unit to enhance overall performance.
  • Contribute to the development of unit performance standards and operational business planning.
  • Participate in unit meetings to identify issues, share information, and make decisions that drive results.
