Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning and Management

Develop and implement strategic plans for the management of precinct properties and facilities, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.

Facilities Management

Oversee the day-to-day operations of precinct properties and facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.

Project Management

Plan, execute, and oversee capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Policy Development

Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to facilities management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Team Leadership

Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for facilities management, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Requirements
  1. Education and Experience

A combination of equivalent education and 7-10 years of related experience in facilities management, project management, or a related field.

Skills and Knowledge

Expertise in planning, executing, and overseeing capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Solid working knowledge of local, provincial, and federal regulations related to safety, sustainability, and building codes.

Professional Development

Active involvement and membership in relevant professional associations, such as the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP) or the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
