Your Role
As a key member of our specialized team in industrial building services, you will oversee medium-scale projects focused on mechanical services within the mining, energy, and heavy industry sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the execution of studies and detailed engineering tasks for HVAC and industrial mechanical service projects.
  • Establishing project budgets and timelines while ensuring team engagement.
  • Communicating project objectives clearly to your team.
  • Ensuring the quality of deliverables, adherence to budgets, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Monitoring performance indicators and providing monthly updates to clients.
  • Mentoring project leaders to help them achieve their goals.
  • Managing client expectations and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Presenting change notices to clients and defining additional project scopes.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Approximately 15 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in mechanical project management within the industrial, energy, or mining sectors.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical services.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
  • Proven experience in project management and technical report writing.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
