About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Apparatus Project Manager to join our Transmission and Distribution Lines team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical apparatus projects from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management
  • Design high- and medium-voltage electrical substations
  • Prepare lists of materials and bills of materials, installation specifications, and layout drawings in accordance with Hydro-Québec standards
  • Perform or check calculations to size equipment and select appropriate power cable gauges
  • Participate in site surveys and ensure coordination with managers from other disciplines

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • More than five years of experience in electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec
  • Very good knowledge of specialized software such as MPI, MCT, CPI, and Logesdes
  • Knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards (GT, SN, TET, etc.)
