About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Apparatus Project Manager to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution Lines team, you will be responsible for managing electrical apparatus projects from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical apparatus projects, including design, installation, and commissioning
  • Lead project teams and ensure coordination with managers from other disciplines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Ensure compliance with Hydro-Québec standards and regulations
  • Participate in site surveys and perform or check calculations to size equipment and select appropriate power cable gauges

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • More than five years of experience in electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec
  • Very good knowledge of specialized software such as MPI, MCT, CPI, and Logesdes
  • Knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards (GT, SN, TET, etc.)
