Assistant Store Manager

Rossland Grocery is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for managing store operations, supervising staff, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Store Operations: Manage daily store operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including merchandise planning, pricing, and promotions.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience an asset, with a minimum of 1 year of retail management experience.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Setting: Rural area, retail business.
