Assistant Store Leader

Job Summary:
Rossland Grocery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and store operations.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold in the store, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers.
- Inventory Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, providing ongoing training and development to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with company goals.
Work Environment:

They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
