Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor acts as a vital link between the management team and sales associates, facilitating the operational aspects of the store while inspiring the team to surpass objectives. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this role provides essential support and coverage in the absence of Store and Assistant Managers. The Supervisor exemplifies desired sales and customer service behaviors consistently, fostering an environment dedicated to delivering exceptional and positive experiences for both customers and staff.

Key Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Over 1 year of relevant experience in a retail apparel setting, with luxury retail experience being advantageous;
  • A proven track record of effectively leading a sales team and being recognized as a peer leader;
  • Experience in managing POS systems, daily financial procedures, and timely report submissions;
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities;
  • A commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience;
  • The ability to collaborate with others while being self-driven;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

  • Providing performance feedback to store management regarding individual and team contributions;
  • Ensuring team members receive scheduled breaks and meal periods;
  • Encouraging open communication on the sales floor;
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines;
  • Executing opening and closing procedures, along with any inventory responsibilities as assigned.
