Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hero Certified Burgers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.

Maintain Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Manage Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Hero Certified Burgers, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.

Language

English.

Work Schedule

32 to 40 hours per week.
