Position Overview:

The Financial Systems & Project Lead will be responsible for directing and overseeing financial initiatives from start to finish. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed on schedule, adhere to defined scopes, and remain within budgetary constraints. The position requires robust project management skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP System Management: Take charge of the company's ERP financial system within the Finance & Accounting division, working closely with the Enterprise IT team to drive continuous enhancements and ensure seamless integration with other departmental systems.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to improve Finance & Accounting workflows, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and workflows that support financial operations and protocols.
  • Project Leadership: Spearhead multiple financial projects and system implementations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analyses to aid in project planning and decision-making.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and track project budgets, offering insights and recommendations for effective financial management.
  • Risk Assessment: Proactively identify and address financial risks associated with projects, implementing sound risk management strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on project performance, identifying trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and internal policies, supporting organizational controls through effective design and application of financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CPA, MBA, or PMP are preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial systems management and project oversight, demonstrating a successful track record of handling multiple projects.
  • Strong grasp of financial management and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and juggle various tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a commitment to mastering the company's NetSuite ERP system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in developing and implementing financial processes and systems.
