Hotel Managing Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Toronto 8 Hotel Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Establish and implement work schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on hotel operations and performance.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality standards.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
