Position Overview:
Our esteemed client in the real estate sector is in search of an Assistant Corporate Controller to enhance their finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Controller, your primary duties will include:
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to create and oversee budgets, aligning them with corporate objectives while providing valuable financial forecasts.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital and mitigating financial risks.
  • Tax Compliance: Guarantee the timely and precise preparation of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Audit Coordination: Facilitate external audits, working closely with auditors to supply necessary documentation and address any inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; experience with Sage300 is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
