Our client, a leading real estate company in Surrey, is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting and Analysis Professional to join their team. As an Assistant Corporate Controller, you will play a key role in providing financial insights and supporting the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and providing insightful financial forecasts.
  • Oversee cash flow and liquidity management, optimizing working capital and minimizing financial risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of corporate tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Facilitate and manage external audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and address inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset.
  • 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel user and experience with Sage300 is highly regarded.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
