Job Summary

The Human Resource Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding process for various positions within the infrastructure sector. This position requires a strong understanding of sourcing methods, recruitment tools, and HR best practices to identify, attract, and hire high-quality talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Human Resource Business Partner to develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Utilize sourcing tools, resume mining, and Boolean searches to identify qualified candidates
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates to deliver updates and other recruiting information
  • Assist in the selection and hiring process, including recruitment, interviews, offers, pre-employment processes, and onboarding
  • Manage quality HR hiring practices, internal hiring workflows, headcount approval documentation, interview documentation, and candidate application processes
  • Coordinate onboarding information and preparation, including communicating with new hires, organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, and ensuring all necessary new hire paperwork is properly filled out and submitted
  • Assist with compiling monthly and weekly reports
Requirements
  • College diploma in Human Resources or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of full-cycle staffing/recruitment experience
  • Head-hunter/staffing agency experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in an open office environment and travel locally, overnight, or internationally
Working Conditions

The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand. Use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities include close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free.
