Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Associate to join our team at BMO. This role will support the V.P.s on the Data and Analytics Governance team, providing expertise in data governance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of data governance frameworks and risk directives
  • Identify and classify data assets, and centralize data dictionaries and libraries
  • Provide training and centralize reporting in CDAO
  • Implement Process Risk Controls (PRCs) as defined by ONFR
  • Support analytics and AI risk directive implementation
  • Assist with redesign of processes for timely data quality
  • Support V.P.s with ONFR and business alignment
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant business experience in Finance, Operations, or Capital Markets
  • Good knowledge of change management and business process transformation
  • Working knowledge of Finance, Operations, and Capital Markets data sets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Data-driven decision-making
