Job Summary

This role supports the V.P.s on the Data and Analytics Governance team at BMO Capital Markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and leading the implementation of the CM Data and Analytic Risk Directives frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of Data Directive initiatives, including data asset identification, classification, and centralization of data dictionaries and libraries.
  • Support the implementation of Analytics and AI Risk Directive initiatives, including analytic asset identification, classification, and centralization of analytic capabilities.
  • Assist with redesign of processes for timely data quality and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support V.P.s with ONFR and business to ensure alignment with data governance strategies and overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Typically, between 1 to 3 years of relevant business experience in Finance Department, Operations, or Capital Markets OCOO or Front Office.
  • Good knowledge gained through business experience in change management and business process transformation.
  • Working knowledge of Finance, Operations, and Capital Markets data sets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems.
  • Ability to influence at various levels.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000 CAD. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
