About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Commercial Banking team as a Senior Credit Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our Senior Client Relationship Managers and Client Relationship Managers in Mid-Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement credit strategies to support the growth of our Mid-Market business
  • Provide coaching and guidance to our Client Relationship Managers on credit proposal presentation and structuring
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for business development and cross-selling
  • Manage and develop a team of Client Service Specialists and Credit Analysts to ensure the ongoing quality of our credit portfolio
  • Collaborate with our Director and Group Lead to ensure the smooth operation of the team
Requirements
  • University degree with a business background, MBA or professional designation preferred
  • Extensive experience in commercial banking, with a strong understanding of credit structures and risk management
  • Superior coaching and management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
