Job Title: Senior Research EDI Strategist

Reporting to the Associate Director, the Senior Research EDI Strategist will play a critical role in developing and implementing overarching research EDI goals for Research Acceleration & Strategic Initiatives (RASI).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver specialized EDI initiatives to enhance successful funding outcomes across the Canadian funding landscape.
  • Lead the establishment and delivery of EDI educational activities for the USask research community.
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with researchers, research groups, and university teams.
  • Develop and maintain a current and expert knowledge of EDI in research and design within the Canadian and international research funding environments.
  • Ensure outreach and engagement of key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A graduate degree, supplemented by at least five years' experience working in an administrative research environment.
  • At least five years' direct and proven experience in the development and implementation of EDI strategies for EDI in research practice and design.
  • Demonstrated strong scholarly writing skills and excellent communications skills.
  • Flexibility to respond to fluctuating workload demands while maintaining productivity and quality.
