About the Role

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team at Meridia Recruitment Solutions, the Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development will play a critical role in driving business success through strategic HR leadership and talent management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and goals.
  • Assess the organization's structure, capabilities, and culture to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee executive compensation programs to ensure alignment with company performance and governance standards.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Identify leadership development needs and create succession plans for key positions within the organization.
  • Partner with managers to identify critical roles, skills gaps, and future talent needs across the organization.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to improve company performance and employee experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, including strong leadership experience, ideally at the Director or Executive level.
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, or other related discipline with relevant experience.
  • CPHR designation would be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Executive Compensation programs within a public company would be considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to shape and drive HR strategies.
  • Strong and current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
